The Multispot M22 AL Stud Welder is an Aluminum Capacitor discharge Stud Welder, complete with stud gun and two grounding clamp cables. Perfect companion to our MultiTool Aluminum Dent Repair Station.
FEATURES
- Aluminum capable by using capacitor discharge technology, which delivers very brief (a few milliseconds), but very high current density (thousands of amps) to break through the surface oxidation (not fully oxidized metal) and insulation without damaging the sheet metal below
- Can weld up to 6mm diameter stud bolts on clean, bare (not painted) aluminum surface
- Comes complete with a stud-gun and 2-clamp ground cables
- Two-capacitor design is faster, provides more consistent weld and delivers higher output energy, at lower input power. Two-capacitors also has less component stress which translates into higher reliability.
